Rosetta: Landing on a Comet

ESA's Rosetta mission spent 10 years chasing Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko and in 2014 became the first spacecraft to orbit a comet. Its lander Philae touched down on November 12, 2014 — the first ever soft landing on a comet nucleus.
