M104 — The Sombrero Galaxy

One of the most photogenic galaxies in the sky. The Sombrero Galaxy is a spiral galaxy seen nearly edge-on, with a brilliant central bulge and a prominent dark dust lane running along its equator — giving it the distinctive shape of a wide-
