M10 — NGC 6254

M10 is a bright and well-resolved globular cluster in Ophiuchus, 14,300 light-years away. It spans about 83 light-years and contains hundreds of thousands of stars, with a noticeably loose, ragged outer envelope. It forms a visual pair with
